Hello, I'm Ted Silas! I am a japanese american artist. I have a passion for falconry and graphic design. I love graffiti, mural art aesthetics, modern art, mid century architecture, graphic design, weird little trinkets and knick-nacks. I don't use a lot of my socials actively.

a lot of this is outdated now, so i'm going to leave it blank for now.I have been making illustrations since the day I can remember. I have been an artist my entire life.I have moved a lot throughout my life, which has led to my interest and passion in falconry. It all started when I moved from the Bay Area to Fresno, seeing red-tailed hawks make a nest up in a tree in my neighborhood; year after year.I have been queer for at least a decade now, my identity changing as I grew. I am FTM and I believe in T4T.

Here are websites and sources I use while drawing or modeling. They probably wont be helpful but its information I do on a active basis.
What do i watch while drawing?
9 hour long videos like bionicle lore reaction. I currently mostly watch atrioc because he talks about stocks and current politics.
I also watch a lot of jerma. I often spend HOURS working on art pieces, so I dont watch short form content. Having to click many videos while drawing can not only be distracting, but also detrimental to your patience (like watching reels)
What do i use for sources while modeling or drawing?
I use blender forums while modeling. It will suprise you but the guy with the exact same problem as you a decade ago will help.
drawingwise, I'm largely self taught. If anything look at the techniques your favorite artists use and implement it into your own art. Dont rip off the style though, or youll look like a copycat.I also use pinterest for insparation for character designs, however I dont colorpick like many artists do. I have built in color theory in my brain so I only rarely colorpick an image.my favorite arts(and artists) are PNW indigenous masks, Preston Singletary, ruth asawa, Harry Fonseca
my favorite digital artists include scpkid, t34_MT, HURT1100FF, probably more but i cant think of any at the exact moment.
